JOIN US IN SAN ANTONIO, TX FOR AN AWARD COORDINATOR TRAINING / AJ SUPERVISORS & ASSESSORS TRAINING, OCTOBER 1 - 3

This conference will empower you to deliver the Award to young people as a Certified Award Coordinator and/or a Certified Adventurous Journey Supervisor and Assessor. This three-day conference consists of two separate trainings, occurring over 1.5 days each (2nd training beginning halfway through the day on Oct. 2):

October 1 – 2, 2019 (Half Day on Oct. 2)
Award Coordinator Course (an internationally recognized certification) provides Award Volunteers with the knowledge and skills required to support Award Participants through their Award journey. This involves mentoring, reflection, and professional development using Cognitive Coaching methodology.

October 2 – 3, 2019 (Half Day on Oct. 2)
Adventurous Journey (AJ) Supervisor and Assessor Course provides the skills to prepare, conduct and evaluate an Award-specific outdoor adventure in line with the experiential learning philosophy of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award USA.
