IMPORTANT UPDATE: Given the recommended social distancing guidance due to COVID-19, we made the decision to cancel our in-person training in Oakland from June 16-17 and have not made plans for an in-person training the remainder of 2020.Â
In the meantime, we will be rolling out a new, four-part online training option (see below) to ensure that Award Coordinators are prepared to oversee the program within their schools and organizations by the fall.
Online Award Delivery Training
The Award Delivery course provides an international certification for Award Coordinators and Adventurous Journey Supervisors and Assessors. The course provides trainees with the knowledge and skills required to implement the Award program successfully in their organization and support participants through their Award journey. It also qualifies them to train others to serve as Award Leaders and Adventurous Journey Supervisors and Assessors.
