17 Global Goals to Change the World

In 2015, the United National adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which is a list of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (also known as the Global Goals or SDGs). Its purpose is to influence development plans internationally in order to achieve the 17 goals by 2030. It is an integrated framework and each goal contributes and enhances the efforts of the other goals.

The International Award Foundation Global Strategy 2018-2023 outlines the IAF’s strategic initiatives. One of these strategic initiatives is aligning the work of the Award with international development models like the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This aims to complement the Award’s Impact Framework and to improve the Award’s environmental impact.
